LANCASTER - The Marauder softball team rebounded from two losses to No. 8 Palomar to shut down Riverside College, 2-0, at Marauder Stadium.
Taylor Roberts pitched another gem for AVC, allowing only three hits in seven innings and five strikeouts.
The Marauders offense came from a solo home run by Alexis Robles in the bottom of the second inning giving her team a 1-0 lead. It was Robles' third home run of the season. Roberts helped herself out at the plate as well as she drove home Valerie Dorantes in the bottom of the third.
