Marauder Men's Volleyball improved to 2-1 with a 3-1 victory over San Diego Mesa at home.
After dropping the first set 22-25, AVC won three sets straight, 25-17, 25-23, and 25-21 over the Olympians. Luis Guerra and Julian Green led the way with 6 kills apiece. Guerra also had 12 digs. He leads the Marauders in kills on the season with 16, closely followed by Green with 15.
Chance Cox had 5 kills and 15 digs. Gamaliel Escobar had a team-high 19 digs, while Connor Wachala led the Marauders in assists with 27. He also chipped in 3 kills.
AVC has a couple of matches on the road against Santiago Canyon and San Diego Miramar before returning home to face Santa Barbara in a conference match-up on February 23.
