Julian Green and Alex Wachala combined for 31 kills as the Marauders narrowly lost a five-set match against Moorpark. Green finished with 18 kills to lead all players while Wachala finished with 13 kills, 3 blocks, and 9 digs.
AVC started strong winning the first set 25-18. Moorpark won the second set 19-25. AVC won the third set 25-21 and Moorpark even it up 2-2 by winning the fourth set 20-25. The fifth and final set to break the tie went back and forth with plenty of action before Moorpark edged out the Marauders 13-15.
Brandon Holderbach-Lee finished with 41 assists, 4 blocks and 15 digs while Matthew Lee finished with 10 kills and seven blocks. Josh Pinedo added three blocks.
The Marauders will travel to Santa Barbara on April 5th before closing out the season at home on April 10th at 6:00 pm against Santa Monica.
