LANCASTER - The Marauder men's volleyball team opened its season with a 3-1 record, however, it only won one of its final 13 matches and closed the season losing to Moorpark and Pierce.
AVC lost to the Raiders in one of its closest matches of the season suffering a 27-25, 24-26, 25-21, 22-25, 15-9 loss on the road at Moorpark College. In their final game of the season the Marauders were defeated by the Brahmas in another closely contested match in four sets, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18 at Marauder Gymnasium.
Matt Lee and Brandon Holderbach-Lee combined for 47 kills in both games and Joey Medina combined for 80 assists.
