LANCASTER - The Marauder men's volleyball team was swept by Moorpark College, 25-19, 25-13, 25-21, Friday evening at Marauder Gymnasium.
Timothy Porter led the Marauders with 12 kills and teammate Devon Carr added 10.
"I thought we played with a lot of energy," said Carr. "That game, compared to other games, we communicated a lot more. We're definitely getting way better. I think we're making the adjustments we need to make and improving."
Jordan Vasconcelos finished with 29 assists for AVC. Caleb Holifield (three kills), Porter and Elpidio Javier had 22, 19 and 18 digs respectively. Justin Humphrey finished with seven kills and three blocks for the Marauders.
