CARRINGTON MOVES ON IN TWO EVENTS

CERRITOS - Imani Carrington was the lone Marauder men's track and field athlete to advance to next week's So. Cal Finals after advancing in both the long and triple jump, Saturday afternoon in the So. Cal Prelims at Cerritos College.

Carrington joins Mariah Theologidy and Jasmane Duncan on the women's side who will compete in next week's finals with the opportunity to advance to the state meet. Carrington was fifth in both events and the top six in next week's meet will advance to the state meet.

Matthew Skoog missed advancing in the hammer throw by one place as he finished seventh. Cedric Spivey did not qualify in the 110 hurdles (15.97) and finished fifth in his heat.
