Marauder men's soccer dropped its second straight match in a 4-2 loss to the Oxnard Condors at home on Friday.
After the Condors scored in the 21:00 minute, AVC bounced back with a goal in the 31:00 minute. Salvador Luviano scored his first goal of the season with an assist from Nathaniel Cobb, his second of the year.
Oxnard scored eight minutes later and took a 2-1 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Marauders answered to start the second half, as Hugo Santana scored with an assist from Kaleb Stokes. Santana has two goals on the year, and Stokes has two assists. The Condors regained momentum and scored two more goals to secure the 4-2 win.
AVC falls to 2-4-1 and will face a 4-4-1 College of the Desert team on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 2:00 pm.
