AVC Men's Soccer won their second conference match of the season against College of the Canyons on Friday. The Marauders defeated the Cougars 2-1 in their previous match at Canyons back in October. The second meeting proved to be another grueling physical battle, but AVC met the challenge with a 1-0 victory.
Damon Smith provided the only goal of the contest on a penalty kick at the 33-minute mark. AVC tallied 12 shots, 4 on goal, while the Cougars recorded more yellow cards (3) than shots on goal (2).
