AVC Men's Soccer won a 3-2 conference game against Citrus College on Tuesday. They remain in first place in the Western State-South Conference at 5-0-2.
The Owls scored first just after 17 minutes into the first half. Antelope Valley responded in the second half with three straight goals courtesy of Jayden White, Guilherme Valenca, and Chris Romero. Francisco Brasiliano added an assist on the day as the Marauders finished totaling 23 shots, 11 on goal.
Bryan Rios Martinez and Daniel Pantaleon recorded one save each.
AVC is 8-3-6 overall and will face Bakersfield on the road on Friday in a crucial match-up that could decide who finishes atop the conference.
