Marauder men's soccer team picked up their fourth win of the season as they outlasted the Pasadena City College Lancers 1-0 on Tuesday.
The close battle would be decided by an acrobatic goal from Bryan Lima at the 11:34 mark in the first half. Fabian Duran delivered the assist Lima's second goal in as many games.
AVC provided constant offensive pressure with a total of 14 shots, five on goal during the match. They managed to limit the Lancers to a couple of shots on the other end.
Makuochukwu Ene managed five shots, while Luis Avila and David Rodriguez Tafoya each had three. Fabian Duran and Jason Quevedo each had a shot.
The Marauders are now 4-0-1 and will be on the road for the rest of September with stops at Moorpark on 9/17, Santiago Canyon on 9/21, and Oxnard on 9/24.
