8/23/21 SEASON UPDATE!

Hello Marauder Soccer Family, Friends, and Fans!

The Fall Semester and Season is here! After the conclusion of a rigorous first week of training, both the Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams will continue to work diligently for their season openers.  This coming Friday, August 27, 2021, our Marauder Soccer teams will kick off fall 2021 game play by hosting a double header versus Victor Valley College.  The Women will begin at 2:00 p.m. and the Men will start at 4:00 p.m.  Also, during this Men’s game we look to feature our Jr. Marauders program (with a community youth game during halftime) and to Pack the Stands! 

*FYI:  For those interested in having their youth team participate in a Junior Marauders Event, please contact Coach Gordon via email at cgordon5@avc.edu

Additionally, with numerous players from the various soccer programs throughout our Antelope Valley, and surrounding areas, the Marauder Soccer program desires to continually represent our community with integrity and pride. A Note from Head Coach Charles Gordon: “Off season, as well as pre-season have proven a solid foundation for our development as we look to progress from lessons learned. We are positively optimistic with the status of both the Men’s and Women’s programs at this point in the season.  Fitness testing went well, injuries have been kept to a minimum, and tactical training is developing at a good pace.  Therefore, energy and enthusiasm continue to grow as we all welcome a long awaited season of play.  Go Marauders!
