KLUNDT SHOOTS SEASON-BEST 75 AT BROOKSIDE

AVC Men's Golf competed at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena, the home course for Glendale College. 

Although the Marauders came up short of their goals as a team with a 7th-place finish, Tanner Klundt had a great outing, and Conner Jazwiecki posted a promising score. Klundt shot a season-best 75, just 3 over par and two strokes lower than his previous best 77. The sophomore from Quartz Hill High School recorded 4 birdies on the day and notched a top-15 finish.

"I just kept myself in it and stayed patient for the birdies that would come. I'm happy with the results, and I'll keep working to lower my scores in the future," said Klundt.

Jazwiecki shot an 80, followed by Drew Degeorge with an 82.

"I'm looking forward to seeing the guys represent our program when they compete at home on Monday," head coach Brad Hazard commented. The Marauders will host next week's match on April 1 at Antelope Valley Country Club.
