Tanner Klundt and Daniel Degeorge played solid golf, posting respectable rounds considering the thick rough and challenging pin placement. The field average was 83 on the day. With his score of 80, Tanner remains in contention to take a spot at the SoCal Regional.
"Daniel has struggled with consistent play, but I was pleased to see him finish 2 over on his back 9," said coach Brad Hazard. "I look forward to seeing if he can take that momentum into league finals, where he will most likely need to score 2 rounds in the mid-70s to give himself a chance at one of the regional spots," he added.
Next, AVC will compete in the League Finals, 2 rounds-36 holes, at Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo on Monday.
