BOULGER, CULLUM, STUDDERT SHOOT SEASON-BEST ROUNDS AT SANTA MARIA

Marauder Men's Golf shot their lowest team score of the season as Brennen Boulger, Miguel Cullum, and Patrick Studdert all played their best round of the season. 

Brennen Boulger led the Marauders with an even-par 72, which was the 4th lowest score of the day. "It's great to see Brennen playing loose and having fun out there. He relied on his short game all day with 26 putts, only 11 on the front 9. He also took advantage of the par 5's, getting birdies on 3 of them." said head coach Brad Hazard. 

Cullum and Studdert both shot 74, which was tied for 6th best. "I was excited to see Patrick go low today. We had a productive practice round yesterday and he came out and played with confidence today. He birdied two of the par 3s... meanwhile Miguel relied on solid ball striking off the tee putting himself in good position all day. He put in a lot of work on the course over the week and it paid off." stated Hazard.

AVC's team season-best team score of 387 placed them in 4th for the tournament. They will host their next match at Antelope Valley Country Club on Monday at 10:00 am. "We're getting better every round and our confidence is growing. To have 3 of our guys represented in the top 6 scores of the day is something to celebrate. We're looking to take this momentum into our home match next week." added Hazard.
