MARAUDER MEN'S GOLF STRUGGLES VENTURA
VENTURA - The Marauder men's golf team had a difficult time on Monday at River Ridge in Ventura by finishing seventh in its second conference match of the season.
AVC shot a combined 482, only ahead of Victor Valley College which shot a 498. College of the Canyons won team match with a combined 378, followed by Santa Barbara City College (389) and Ventura College (397).
Sire Olmstead led the Marauders with an 88 (+16), followed by Henry Lauer (92) and Aaron Volkenant (98).
"The course was difficult for everyone today," AVC coach Brad Hazard said. "It was evident in the teams scores which were much higher than last week."
College of the Canyons' Daniel Taplan and Mike Kingrin along with Santa Barbara's Theo Andre were the low scorers of the day shooting a 74 (+2).
