HAND SHOOTS WELL FOR MARAUDER MEN'S GOLF TEAM
SAN JACINTO - The Marauder men's golf team along with 14 other schools from southern California competed in the Eagle Classic held at the Soboba Springs Country Club hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College.
Jonathan Hand shot well for the Marauders finishing with the 15th best round of the day. Hand shot a five over par (77). Three players tied for the best round of the day -2 (70), including Cuyamaca College's Daniel Jahng, Citrus College's Brandon Dodey and Orange Coast College's Marcus Rosa.
"Jonathan (Hand) is getting close to breaking out," AVC head coach Brad Hazard said. "He was consistently driving the ball 300 plus yards. He just needs to get off to a quicker start and put together a solid 18 holes."
Mt. San Jacinto finished first overall followed by College of the Desert and Orange Coast College.
