Bio

Myles Conkrite joined the AVC Men’s Basketball Coach is staff during the 2019-2020 season.

In 2017-2018 he became a varsity head coach after being the head coach for the freshmen team at his alma mater, Knight HS. For the past three seasons, he has had success developing high school talent and has been able to send players to the next level. 

Myles has an extensive background in basketball and is well known in the Antelope Valley community due to his reffing, training, and coaching of youth programs. 

During his playing career, Myles played three years of varsity basketball at Knight HS starting in 2009. He was in and out the starting lineup for two years. By his senior year, he was a starter and one of the captains. He played both guard positions and was a Golden League 2x champion as well as made Golden League All First Team. He also helped lead his team to the playoffs all three years but ended up coming short in the second round losing to LB Poly. 

Myles is currently finishing up his degree after taking a break from school when he tore his MCL in hopes of playing college basketball.
