EMANI SCOTT ACCEPTS OFFER FROM MONTANA TECH UNIVERSITY

Congratulations to Marauder Basketball's Emani Scott, who has signed and will continue his basketball and academic career at Montana Technological University. Scott started in 26 of 27 games for AVC and averaged 13.7 points per game, 3.4 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game this past season. He scored in double figures 16 times, including a season-high 33 points against Ventura College. Scott collected three or more rebounds in 19 contests and handed out at least three assists in 13 games, and as one of the top defenders in the Western State Conference, he had two or more steals in 14 games. The 6'3 guard played one season with Antelope Valley College after graduating from Oakland Technical HS (Calif.) and plans on pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary arts and sciences.
Montana Tech competes in the NAIA's Frontier Conference. Under the leadership of 6th-year head coach Adam Hiatt, the Diggers went 27-7 last season and beat Mid-America Christian University (Okla.) before losing to Southwestern Assemblies of God University in the NAIA National Tournament.
