MARAUDERS MEN'S BASKETBALL OUTLASTS GLENDALE

LANCASTER - Marauders Men's Basketball defeated Glendale College 83-74 at Newton Chelette Court. The victory marks the fourth straight win as the Marauders have not lost a game in February.

Led by Tyriq Perry and Julian Payton's 17 points each, the Marauders had a two-point lead at the half. AVC then outscored Glendale 39-32 in the second half to win by nine.

The Marauders shot 50% from the field, making 6 of 16 from behind the 3-point line. Elie Ghomsi had 14 points and nine rebounds, while Jalen Riley finished with 12 points and five assists. AVC is now 11-15 on the season and will play away at Citrus College on February 19th, before closing their regular season at home against Barstow on February 22nd.
