GLENDALE - Fiona Ferry scored a career-high 21 points and netted four 3-pointers to help the lead the Marauder women's basketball team to a 63-62 victory over Glendale, Saturday afternoon on the road.
With the victory the Marauders still have hopes of making the playoffs with an RPI of 17. Still AVC has only a 16-13 record, but it is 8-3 in conference.
Shantanel Bivens collected another double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Deja Smith scored 19 points and had five rebounds, five steals and four assists.
The Marauders led 21-8 after the first quarter but had to hold on as they were outscored in the final three quarters.
