SAN BERNARDINO - Things seemed to be going well in the first half for the Marauder men's basketball team against East LA.
The Marauders led 35-30 at halftime, however, they were outscored 53-32 in the second half and the Huskies ran away with an 83-67 victory in the third place game of the San Bernardino Tournament.
AVC still maintained a 57-52 lead midway through the second half before it hit a wall. East LA outscored the Marauders 31-10 in the final 10 minutes including an 18-2 run to seal the victory.
D'Mauria Jones led AVC with 18 points and Osi Nwachukwu finished with 16.
