MARAUDER MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM REMAINS UNDEFEATED IN CONFERENCE

VICTORVILLE - The Marauder men's basketball team is rounding into form and it showed again Saturday night as it had no trouble with an outmatched Victor Valley College team as AVC earned an easy 73-42 victory.

With the victory, the Marauders remained atop the Western State Conference-East Division standings, with Citrus College chasing by one game.

The Marauders turned on the gas in the first half by outscoring the Rams, 33-15. First half leads plagued AVC earlier this season as it trailed at halftime the majority of its games.

AVC's defense forced Victor Valley to shoot only 27 percent from the field and only 4-of-23 from 3-point range.
