LANCASTER - It's about time the Marauder men's basketball team starts getting some votes to earn its way back into the state polls.
AVC has been on a complete tear and Wednesday night was no different.
The Marauders shot a blisters 58 percent from the field and had no problems with an overmatched LA Valley team, defeating the Monarchs, 95-56, at Marauder Gymnasium.
Jailen Gill collected a double-double by finishing with 14 points and 12 rebounds. D'Mauria Jones led all scorers with 20 points. Cory Dollarhide (17 points) and Darik Pradia scored 12 points as the other AVC players in double figures. Antone Warren nearly collected another double-double as he finished with nine points and nine rebounds.
AVC, held LA Valley to only 1-of-16 from 3-point range, and led 53-25 at halftime.
