Joseph Moorer scored 26 points, including four threes to lead the Marauders to a 90-74 win over Moorpark in the Ventura Tournament.
So, for the sixth straight year AVC will play for the championship of the tournament, looking for their fifth title and second straight. And for the third striaight year, it will be against the host Pirates, which beat Santa Barbara 92-60. AVC won last year, the Pirates in 2013. The game begins at 7 p.m.
Gregory Wesley became the first Marauder in double figures in rebounding with 13, seven of those offensive. Chris Martin had seven assists, while Jalen Etienne had six.
