Bio

The Antelope Valley College graduate played gaurd for the Marauders after an outstanding high school career at left tackle for Quartz Hill High.

During the 1992 and 1993 seasons at AVC, he was a teammate of Coach Gordon and Coach Lear, winning the 1992 K-Swiss Bowl. After AVC, Randy played Guard at Utah State University in 1994 and 1995. Randy has coached offensive line for 15 seasons, including at Quartz Hill High.

Clemons was part of the 2017 CIF Championship team staff at Quartz Hill, working as an assistant with legendary AVC offensive line coach Mike Martinez. Randy also coached his sons Randy II, who played tight end at Tarleton State University, and Julian, who played Center at the University of Northern Colorado.

As the head O-Line coach for coach Gordon at Quartz Hill, Randy, along with his sons Randy II and Julian, reached the Semi-Finals, going 9-4 in the 2024 season.

Randy has been married to his wife Arlene for 25 years, and they have three sons: Xavier, Randy II, and Julian.
