Antelope Valley College Football staff welcomed Christian Tago as their Inside Linebacker Coach in 2025.

Tago had a standout career at Highland High School, where he earned All-CIF and All-State honors as an all-purpose player. He then played four years at San Jose State University, starting as a middle linebacker. During his college career, he received Freshman All-American honors and was recognized on the All-Mountain West team. He finished his time at San Jose State ranked #5 on the school's career tackles list. After college, Tago spent time with the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles.

His coaching career began in 2020, during which he took on roles as both a linebacker coach and a defensive coordinator. Tago successfully developed his linebackers to become 1st Team All-League players each season he coached.

Christian and his wife, Larissa, have three children: Aaliyah, Aaloni, and Christian Jr.
