Bio

Bryce Harvey has valuable experience and knowledge of Offense and Defense. At Western Colorado University, Harvey played defensive back and slot/ wide receiver. He majored in Exercise Sports Science (with an emphasis on Health Fitness) and minored in Business Administration in his time. After graduating, he started an athletic training and consulting business that helps athletes of all ages and backgrounds improve their performance physically and mentally. When first joining AVC, he volunteered with the defensive staff and special teams. Now serves as Defensive Backs (Safeties) Assistant Coach. As the youngest coach on the staff, Coach Harvey is an energetic and passionate motivator on the field.

Before arriving at AVC, Harvey played running back, defensive back, and wide receiver while at La Salle High School in Pasadena. He achieved First team All-League in his Junior and Senior seasons and Second Team All-League his sophomore season. He was also being honored with All-CIF Southern Section. Harvey was also able to gather over 1,000 rushing yards, 1,500 all-purpose yards, 17 touchdowns, with 47 tackles while playing at La Salle.


His time at Western Colorado resulted in 667 all-purpose yards in two seasons with 50 catches. With over 200 return yards on special teams in those same two seasons.
