The Marauders captured a league championship with a 47-11 victory over the Moorpark Raiders. AVC dominated the Raiders with almost 500 yards of total offense, rushing for 412 yards and five touchdowns. Amir Bankhead led the charge with 184 yards and three of the five ground scores. Caden Hinton rushed for 94 yards and a score, while Jackson Marshall had 60 yards and a score. Brycen Blankenship passed for 34 yards and connected with Davon Jones for a touchdown.
The Marauder defense, led by R'mon Huff's eight tackles, smothered Moorpark's offense. Xavier Tatham and Raymond Womack had five tackles apiece, while Augustin Lorfils Jr, Dazhon Sanders, Gannon Ginnis, and Doron Mitchell had four tackles each.
AVC finished the regular season 8-2 overall with a perfect 5-0 record in the SCFA's American Pacific Conference and is awaiting bowl game selections.
