FOUR MARAUDERS NAMED TO ALL-STATE TEAM
Kalai Clark, Agustin Lorfils, Jaylynn Harvery, and Hakim Simmons were selected to the CCCAA's All-California First Team.
The JC Athletic Bureau of the California Community College Football Coaches Association released it's 2019 All-California Community College Football Teams and four Marauders were selected to Region IV All-California First Team.
Freshmen Kalai Clark, Hakim Simmons, Jaylynn Harvery, and Augustin Lorfils all received honors. Lorfils played all 10 games and led the Marauders with 67 total tackles. The 6'0 175 lbs. DB from North Miami averaged 6.7 tackles per game and 1.5 sacks per game. He also finished with three interceptions.
Clark, a 6'1, 196 lbs. Defensive Lineman led Antelope Valley in sacks and tackles for loss. Harvery, a 6'2, 220-pound Defensive Lineman was also a top tackler for AVC with51 total tackles. He averaged 5.1 tackles per game and 2.5 sacks.
Hakim Simmons, a 6'1, 250-pound OL was the only offensive player selected.
