SELVIG RECEIVES SCFA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD WITH RECORD-BREAKING PERFORMANCE
The Southern California Football Association named Tyler Selvig the American Division Offensive Player of the Week for week 11. Selvig broke the Marauder's single-game passing touchdown record with seven.
The Southern California Football Association named Tyler Selvig the American Division Offensive Player of the Week for week 11. Selvig completed 31 of 54 attempts for 352 yards with seven passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. The Marauders went on to defeat Victor Valley 60-33 and finish second in the SCFA's American Mountain League standings.
Selvig's seven touchdown passes broke the Marauder's single-game record of five held by four previous players. (Josh Firm - 2009, Brandon Mims - 2010, Blake Shepherd - 2015 and 2016, Armani Edden - 2017)
Selvig led Antelope Valley on the season with 95 completions for 1,159 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also led the Marauders in rushing touchdowns with five while totaling 346 yards on 103 attempts. Selvig currently has an offer to play for Adams State University.
