Bio
Coach Grissom has an impressive coaching career spanning over 20 years, during which he has worked with players of all ages, from 4-year-olds to 18-year-olds.
His journey began as the Freshman Coach at Saugus High School in 2015 before he assumed the role of Head Baseball coach at Saugus from 2017 to 2024. Graduating from Quartz Hill High School in 1991, Coach Grissom not only played baseball there but also continued his passion for the sport at Pierce College from 1991 to 1993. His dedication led him to play Independent Ball for the Yuma Miners in Arizona from 1995 to 1996.
Currently residing in Santa Clarita with his wife, Maha, and his two sons, Tyler and Hewitt, who both played baseball and completed their careers at Chico State, Coach Grissom's commitment to the sport and his players is an inspiration.
