After falling to the Monarchs 8-2 earlier in the week on the road, AVC lost the second match-up with LA Valley 11-4 at home.
The Marauders totaled their 4 runs off 9 hits and had 4 errors on the day. AVC led 2-1 after three innings but surrendered 2 runs in the 4th inning, 2 runs in the 5th, and another 2 runs in the 6th. Down 7-3 after six innings of play, the Marauders gave up another 4 runs in the 7th, while leaving 2 runners on base in the bottom of the inning. AVC left a total of 15 runners stranded.
Joe Uribe (2-for-5) and Nate Scott (1-for-2) recorded RBIs, while Mason Johnson and Zach Terry had 2 hits apiece.
The Marauders, now 6-8 in conference, seek to take the last game of the 3-game series on Friday, back at LA Valley.
