Nathan Scott went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI as the Marauders drop the first game 6-14. McKinley O'Connor and Nathan Brockbank both went 2-for-4, while O'Connor also had two RBI. Jordan Wilson, George Mercado, Colin Hagen, and Ryan Redondo each had a hit. Hagen also had one RBI.
Although AVC jumped out to an early 6-0 lead and had a better offensive output in game two, they still lost by a final score of 10-13. The offense was lead by McKinley O'Connor (4-for-6/3 RBI), Nathan Scott, (2-for-4/1 HR/3 RBI), and Peter Rodriguez (3-for-5/1 RBI). Brandon Wilson also went 3-for-5, and Jordan Wilson went 2-for-5 with an RBI. George Mercado also stayed hot with a home run in the 2nd inning.
The Marauders will be at Oxnard on Saturday the 8th for two more games before facing Allan Hancock on the road on Thursday the 13th.
