AVC Baseball pulled out a dramatic 8-7 victory over the LA Valley Monarchs at Marauder Stadium. In a close game that went back and forth, the Marauders came from behind scoring three runs in the bottom of the 9th inning. Jimmy Lundquist hit a walk-off single giving AVC their third straight win. David Torres, Wyatt Hendrie, and Brandon Otis had two hits and one RBI each, while Jakob Russell chipped in with two RBIs. Pitcher Spencer Foley got the start for AVC and struck out four batters in four innings of work. JJ Holiday got the win striking out two of four batters faced. The Marauders are now 3-3 on the season and will face West Hills Coalinga in a double-header for their next home contest on February 16th.
