VALENCIA - The Marauder baseball team was shut out by Canyons in the second game of the three game series, 7-0, at College of the Canyons.
AVC could only muster seven hits, two each from Blake Leidholdt and Jonathan Cornish. Ethan Avant, Anthony Parisi and Jorge Villalobos each collected one hit for the Marauders.
Cougars' starting pitcher Jacob Lopez allowed only six hits in seven inning pitched and struck out 12 AVC hitters.
