VALENCIA - Ethan Avant hit a solo home run in top of the seventh inning, but the Marauder baseball team could only muster four hits as it dropped its second conference game in a row falling to College of the Canyons, 11-3, Friday afternoon.
Eddie Marcotte singled inthe top of the seventh inning to score Anthony Parisi, however, the Marauder still trailed 8-2 at that point. Jorge Villalobos and Carlos Martinez-Martinez had the other hits for AVC.
AVC dug itself an 8-0 deficit following the first three innings.
The Marauders return to the field looking for their first conference victory at home on Tuesday against Glendale.
