LANCASTER - The struggles for the Marauder baseball team at home continued as Citrus College came to town and handed AVC a 9-1 loss, Thursday afternoon.
Despite collecting 10 hits, the Marauders could only account for one run following a solo home run off the bat of Travis Tarnoff in the bottom of the sixth inning. Still AVC trailed 7-1 at that point.
Tarnoff's home run was the only mistake that Owls' starter Chris Ghosn made. Ghosn pitched six strong innings allowing only six hits while striking out four. AVC has now lost eight of its last nine games.
