Bio

Amos P. Wellington joined the Marauders Track and Field Staff in 2018. Coaching Sprints. He joined the staff bringing 20+ years of coaching on the High School level. Head Coaching stints at Eastside High School 2005-2012, Locke High School 2002-2005, Fairfax 1994-1997.

Coach Wellington has guided California State Champions in Track & Field and Wrestling. Golden League Championships with Eastside School 2009 and Highland 2015.

At AVC, Coach Wellington has served as Head Cross Country coach from 2020-2021 and Assistant Cross Country coach from 2019-2020. His latest role at AVC includes serving on the Honors Committee from 2021-2023 as he continues to develop championship student-athletes with Marauder Track and Field.

Coach is married to Tiffany, his wife of 22+ years, father to Grace, Katheryn, and Blake.
