AVC ANNOUNCES RUSSELL GORDON AS NEW HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

Antelope Valley College (AVC) is excited to announce the hiring of Coach Russell Gordon as the new Head Coach of the Marauder Football Program. With a wealth of experience and a passion for developing student-athletes, Coach Gordon will take over the reins of the program as it continues to strive for excellence both on and off the field.

Coach Gordon brings 28 years of coaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels. The Southern California Football Coaches Association recently recognized Coach Gordon as a 100-plus game-winner. "We are thrilled to welcome Coach Gordon to the Antelope Valley College family," said Dr. Ben Partee, Interim Dean of Kinesiology and Athletics. "His track record of success and his commitment to student-athlete development align perfectly with our values and vision for the program's future. We're confident that Coach Gordon will help take our football team to new heights."

In addition to his coaching credentials, Coach Gordon is deeply committed to fostering a culture of integrity, discipline, and academic achievement. His leadership philosophy centers around creating a positive, supportive environment where student-athletes can thrive in both athletics and academics.
