MARAUDERS FINISH TOP 3 IN SEVERAL EVENTS AT MOORPARK OPEN

Marauder Men's & Women's Track & Field ran in their first meet of the season at the Moorpark Open.

Highlights included freshman Kayla Thompson winning both the women's 300-meter and the 600-meter races. Prishencia Nnoham won the women's 200-meter sprint and also finished 2nd in the 300-meter. 

Briann Brazil (women's) and Dedrick Moore (men's) both placed 2nd in the 200-meter sprint. Brazil also placed 5th in the 60-meter sprint.

Makuochukwu Ene placed 2nd in the men's triple jump, while Jordan Kennon finished 4th.

Xavier Tatham finished in 3rd place in men's javelin and discus. Next, AVC will compete in the Battle of the Regions at Bakersfield on Friday, 2/11.
