MARAUDER WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL EARNS FIRST CONFERENCE VICTORY, SWEEPS WEST LA

CULVER CITY - The Marauder women's volleyball team filled up the stat sheets on Wednesday evening in its first conference victory over West LA College, on the road with a 25-10, 25-22, 25-21 victory over the Wildcats.
Kaeley Avendano led AVC (3-9, 1-2) with 10 kills and 15 digs, while Taylor Williams finished with a career-high with 29 assists and a career-high four aces. It was Avendano's third double-double of the season. AVC has won back-to-back matches for the first time this season.
It was the Marauders' most complete victory of the season as Melissa Lee had five kills and 10 digs, Breeanna and Brittnee Wright each finished with four kills. Other contributors included Raven Anthony (five kills and three aces) and Valerie Ramirez and Elizabeth Perez added eight and seven digs respectively.
AVC will continue to build off its momentum when it plays at LA Mission College on Wednesday at 6pm.
