MORRO BAY - Michaela Klundt finished 22nd at the State Championships at the Morro Bay Golf Course at the two-day tournament on Sunday and Monday.
Following the first day, Klundt shot a 79 and was in 12th place entering the final day of play. However, on Monday Klundt shot a disappointing 84, which gave her a combined 163 for 22nd.
"She (Klundt) left her mark at AVC and will provide our new golfers a goal to shoot for," AVC head coach George Fetters said.
It was the second year in a row that Klundt competed at the State Championship Tournament. She finishes as a Marauder her career as a two-time all-conference player, as well as this year's Player of the Year for the Western State Conference, the first ever in school history.
