VENTURA - The Marauder women's basketball team lost to Irvine Valley College, 55-45, in the opening round of the Ventura College Tournament, Wednesday afternoon.
An AVC victory would have pitted the Marauders against Ventura College, a team that defeated it 90-31 earlier this season, but instead the Marauders will face Rio Hondo College.
