CERVANTES NAMED NFCA ALL-AMERICAN

Congratulations to Marauder Softball's Savannah Cervantes on being selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Team!

The infielder from Ventura, CA, was instrumental in leading the Marauders to a WSC Conference championship this past season. Cervantes led the team in hits with 62 and was second in RBI with 35 on the year. She finished with a second-best 8 home runs and team-leading numbers for batting average (.521), slugging percentage (.840), and on-base percentage (.586). The third baseman sported a .949 fielding percentage appearing in 42 games. She was a 3CFCA Player of the Week, 3CFCA All-State South selection, and The Western State Conference Player of the Year.
