MARAUDER SOFTBALL DROPS TWO GAMES IN CYPRESS

CYPRESS - The Marauder softball team had two tough games at Cypress College and fell 1-0 to Bakersfield and 13-5 to the state's top-ranked team, Cypress.

In the first game against Bakersfield, Renegades' pitcher Kylee Fahy allowed only two hits, both to Isabelle Gomez, while striking out six AVC hitters.

Bakersfield benefitted from one run in the bottom of the third inning which proved to be the game-winner after Naizemarie Ubay grounded out to third scoring Ashley Hernandez.

In the second game, against Cypress the Marauders trailed 7-1 after three innings and 11-1 after four. Arika Price was 1-for-1 with a triple and two RBI.
