MATTHEW LEE HAS 11 KILLS IN LOSS TO PIERCE

Men's Volleyball got off to a great start against the Pierce Brahmas winning the first set 25-16 behind Matthew Lee's 4 kills.

The Marauders then lost a competitive second set 21-25 before dropping the third set 20-25, and the final set 15-25. Lee finished with 11 kills and 6 blocks.

Julian Green had 8 kills, 3 blocks and 7 digs while Brandon Holderbach-Lee finished with 29 assists, 5 kills, 3 blocks, and 13 digs. AVC stayed aggressive but couldn't find the mark on offense often enough. Pierce kept the pressure on and seemed to respond every time the Marauders made a run. Anthony Merzoian had 18 digs while Jonathan Teo had 5 blocks. Josh Chavez chipped in 8 digs on the match.

AVC (1-6) will play at Long Beach City on March 6th, and at Moorpark on March 8th before returning home to face Santa Barbara on March 13th.
