Antelope Valley College Men's Soccer recorded a 3-3 tie in a conference matchup against Bakersfield on Tuesday.
The Marauders fell behind 2-0 in the first half but came out and scored early in the second half with an unassisted goal from Francisco Brasiliano. The Renegades responded one minute later in the 47th minute to take a 3-1 lead.
AVC pulled within one after Chris Romero set up Chance Shearer for his first goal of the year at 48:34. Christian Gomez closed the gap at 3-3 in the 53rd minute with an unassisted goal, his fourth of the season. The Marauders finished with 16 shots, 5 on goal. Daniel Pantaleon recorded one save in the contest.
AVC remains in first place in the Western State-South Conference at 2-0-2 and 5-3-6 overall. They play Glendale and Canyons on the road before returning home on November 8th to face Citrus in their final regular season home game of the year.
