MARAUDER SOCCER UPDATE! 9/13/21

Congratulations to both the Men's and Women's Marauder Soccer Teams as they completed the week of competition undefeated. While navigating the challenges of being student/athletes, the players for both teams continue to emphasize an individual, as well as united commitment and dedication to giving their best effort. "With character, integrity, and knowledge, our student/athletes in both programs are positively embracing the opportunity to optimize their educational and athletic experience. As well, with a concentrated focus on the whole player, these Marauders are enjoying progressive development and much success in the classroom and on the field of play, stated coach Gordon." 

On Tuesday, September 7, 2021, the Marauder Women proved themselves to be task conscious as they earned a 9/0 victory over Cerro Coso College. Additionally, the Marauder Women played a strong San Bernardino College team in the second game of a doubleheader with the Men's program on September 10, 2021, to a 2-1 victory on a second-half goal scored by captain Kelsey Ruiz.  

Furthermore, the men continue to incorporate a strong mental state of preparation, allowing them to rise to a better level and perform well by choice rather than chance. They displayed a stellar performance versus Compton College Friday afternoon with a 3/0 victory against a very hard-working opponent. After scoring 3 first-half goals, the Marauder Men continued to grind diligently as they adjusted their system and personnel to address numerous areas of growth and finish strong.   

Lastly, as both teams continue to learn from the past, live in the present, and prepare for the future, they consistently show gratitude by giving their best effort to take full advantage of the opportunities afforded. Coach Gordon, Coach Ontiveros, and Coach Farrell look forward to guiding each team into the coming week with the following events to take place:
