EL CAMINO ENDS MARAUDERS UNBEATEN STREAK AT HOME

Antelope Valley College hosted El Camino on Friday evening at Brent Carder Marauder Stadium.
The Marauders entered the game with an unbeaten 3-0 home record. Cameron Taylor scored the first goal of the game 30 minutes in from an assist by Ernesto Guevera, giving the Marauders a 1-0 advantage at the intermission.
"We knew going into this match that El Camino was very strong offensively. Our goal was to come out strong and minimize their scoring opportunities," said Head Coach Jerry Stupar.
The Maraders did that winning the shot chart at 6-5 at the half however, the Warriors came out in second half with 18 shots to the Mauraders 3 winning the shots for : 23-9. The difference in shot attempts netted 3 goals for El Camino and a fizzled AVC offensive presence.
Antelope Valley will return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 25, to host Moorpark. Game time is set for 4 pm.
