Bio

Brad Hazard has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Antelope Valley College since 2013 when he was hired as the Men’s Golf Coach. Hazard is proud to be successful in leading one or more players to the CCCAA Southern California Regional Championships each of his 9 years at the helm of the Marauder golf program.

An alumnus of Antelope Valley College, Hazard attended Cal State Northridge where he graduated in 2002 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology.  He earned his Single Subject Physical Education Credential in 2003 from Cal State Bakersfield and his APE Credential from Cal Poly Pomona in 2005.  Brad continued his education at Azusa Pacific University, where in 2006 he graduated with his Masters of Science in Physical Education.

Along with his duties with the golf team, Hazard also has taught Physical Education in the Lancaster School District for the last 20 years and will now be one of three Adapted Physical Education Instructors in the district. As an educator in the LSD and faculty member at AVC, he is very impressed with the quality education programs, teachers, and staff at Antelope Valley College. While he is the Men’s Golf Coach, he is an educator first and has made it a goal to encourage players to strive for excellence not only on the course but in the classroom and in the community.

Hazard and his wife, Kristi, live in the Antelope Valley with their three children, Hayden, Presley, and Bradley. The Hazard family takes great pride in being part of the Marauder family.
